As some of you may have noticed, I have been really quiet on the blog front in the past while. I have been busy creating a land base for doing the art of living well. We had not planned on moving ashore so soon but as miracles would have it, what we dreamed about manifested and we needed to act fast to accept the gift the Universe was offering us. So that is exactly what we did. We moved in on the second of October. Since then we have replaced the flooring, painted the entire house, switched out some lighting, my amazing hubby and my awesome step-son built some really cool shelving and a whole lot more. I love this house so much because it is what I have always dreamed of. And to boot, it looks out at the most amazing little bay. We can see our boat right out front, actually. And as circumstances would have it, it is also a unique opportunity so that we can afford it as well!
So our furniture arrived a week ago and the floor still was not entirely finished. Then my hubby got called back to work unexpectedly two days later. Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans, right!? We were both sad because he never got to see it all put together. But,there will be a nice surprise waiting for him when he gets home at the end of the month. So I may not have been painting, or writing much for that matter, but sometimes an artist's art project is the place where their body and soul dwells. Here is a number of pictures of my project: Beautiful and transformational, bamboo flooring done by Custom Carpets, here on the Sunshine Coast....LOVE! A few beautiful local Stores I accessed for accessories here on the coast: Whimsy, Red Fish, East 4th,Dave Coyle and Redecor.
